The home side scored twice in each half, with Raphinha turning in another eye-catching performance by scoring twice. The other goals came from Neymar and Gabriel Jesus.
Brazil's victory was their first in three games and moved them up to second place in the CONMEBOL standings. Uruguay, meanwhile, dropped to fourth place after their second consecutive defeat.
